文章通过对英语专业学生就新版《柯林斯COBUILD英语词典》语用词汇进行的翻译实践活动进行案例分析,在指出学生薄弱环节的同时,探讨目前翻译教学中的软肋及改进方向.提出目前翻译教学中应有五个＂注重＂.即注重培养认真负责的翻译态度、注重强调译文的交际效果、注重培养语用意识、注重培养语体意识、注重应用翻译技能的培养.
