Abstract:

A PdO-Pt/Ti anode was obtained using nano-phase Pt as modifier in the anode coating. For comparison, PdO/Ti was also prepared. It is indicated that the coating of PdO-Pt/Ti anode is composed of PdO and Pt. The nano-phase Pt particles are dispersed in the coating, which increase the roughness of the surface and enlarge the area of surface activity. Because of the addition of the high anticorrosive Pt particle, the accelerated lifetime of the new type anode is increased by 10 fold. The PdO/Ti anode is modified by nano-Pt particles can obviously improve the catalytic activity and the durability.
