Abstract:
As an emerging microseparation technology,capillary electrochromatography (CEC) has drawn more and more attention in recent years, since it combines both the merits of high efficiency of capillary electrophoresis and robust selectivity of high performance liquid chromatography. The basic principle, the column techniques and commonly used detectors of CEC are introduced simply. Especially, the technique of capillary electrochromatography coupled with laser-induced fluorescence, including its application in the fields of biochemical analysis, clinical medicine and environmental monitoring is summarized.
