Abstract:

This paper presented a finite element procedure, named NFACFST. The behaviors of concrete-filled steel tube columns during the whole period of fire were carried out by considering the fire damage on the strength and displacement of the concrete-filled steel tube columns at every time step. Comparisons on the fire resistance experimental data and calculation results were made, then a good agreement was obtained. Influence of parameters on the fire resistance was analyzed. The parameters were as follows: load, sectional dimension, steel ratio, column slenderness, etc. The achievements may be of reference for the fireproof design of concrete-filled steel tube columns.
