Abstract:

Due to the features of the field emission display (FED), a zooming scheme based on improved Newton algorithm is proposed is this paper. The FED zooming system is based on the improved Newton algorithm, which can effectively alleviate the low contrast and the low gray-scale lost of the FED. The final effect and complexity have more obvious advantages than the traditional zooming methods by selecting the optimal parameters and adding compensating coefficients on the basis of the Newton interpolation algorithm. When applied to the display of the FED, the zooming system with the proposed algorithm can significantly enhance the contrast and compensate the lost of low gray-scale, so that the final image will be more delicate.
