Abstract:
A no-arc control strategy of AC/DC contactor based on hybrid commutation technology was proposed to solve the problem of contact burn caused by switching arc of large capacity AC/DC contactor. The control strategy combines the advantages of forced zero crossing and natural commutation techniques, and combined with contact signal closed-loop feedback control, which solves the problem that the zero-voltage recovery time is short and the control strategy is affected by the decentralization of the mechanism. The control strategy has achieved contact system AC/DC universal and no-arc breaking, and it is suitable for different electromagnetic mechanisms. The new circuit topology scheme was proposed, and the optimal control parameters were obtained by theoretical analysis and calculation, and achieved the contact current with the fastest zero-crossing rate and 100% reverse current utilization. The working principle of the proposed control strategy was analyzed by simulations and experiments and the effectiveness was verified. © 2019 Chin. Soc. for Elec. Eng.
