Abstract:
In view of the problem that the arc burning is difficult to maintain and the arc time is difficult to meet the test standard of fault arc circuit breaker when the test current is low. To solve this problem, a closed-loop fuzzy control strategy based on electromechanical coupling is presented. The fuzzy controller is designed according to the arc voltage and arc gap feedback. The effectiveness of this control strategy has been verified by a range of experimental tests including not only the resistive load, but also the nonlinear load such as switching power supply. The test success rate under resistive load is 100% and 95% under switching power supply load. It provides technical support for improving the performance of the arc fault protection electrical test system, increasing the test success rate and efficiency of the arc fault circuit breaker test. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
