Abstract:
Since there is a close relationship between the emission of carbon dioxide and international investment, as well as industrial transfer caused by international trade, problems of increasing emission of carbon by FDI can not be ignored. Through analyzing the relationship between inputs of FDI in high-carbon industry and total carbon emission, a close positive correlation has been found between introducing of FDI and increasing emissions of carbon in China. Meanwhile, the results of analyzing also indicated that most of FDI were entered into high-carbon industry in China, and the low structural problems of FDI focused on processing projects investment become the one of major obstacles to the development of low carbon economy in China.
