Abstract：
The triplet - state lifetime of a series of zinc octaalkoxy - naphthalocynines ZnNc(OR)(8)(R = C4H9, C8H17, C12H25) were obtained by Laserflash photolysis. The abilities for photo - generating singlet oxygen and their photodynamic activities against HL60 cancer cell were investigated, and the photosensitization reaction mechanism of the title compounds as photosensitizers in photodynamic therapy was discussed.
