Abstract:
Excited state properties, generation of single-state oxygen and photo-oxidation of amino acid of axially coordinated silicon naphthalocyanine compounds have been investigated. The results indicate that the life of excited triplet state and generation of singlet state oxygen gradually reduce with increase of push electronic properties of axially coordinated groups for different silicon naphthalocyanine compounds. Reaction rate of photo-oxidation of amino acid is dependent on ability of generation of singlet state oxygen of different axially coordinated silicon naphthalocyanine compounds. Therefore, the first order rate constant of photosensitized oxidation of amino acids gradually reduce with increase of push electronic properties of axially coordinated groups.
