Abstract：

A　mild　and　efficient　copper-mediated　trifluoromethylthiolation　of　acid　chlorides　using　(bpy)CuSCF3　has　been　developed.　A　wide　range　of　S-trifluoromethyl　esters　were　synthesized　in　good　to　excellent　yields　and　various　functional　groups,　including　cyano,　ether,　ester,　halide,　nitro,　et　al.　were　well　tolerated.　(C)　2016　Elsevier　Ltd.　All　rights　reserved.
