Abstract:
Let H delta infinity be the Hausdorff content on Rnof order delta E (0, n]. For the space BMO(H delta infinity) of bounded mean oscillation that is defined with respect to H delta infinity, the authors establish its equivalent characterizations via replacing the L1(H delta infinity)-integrability in its definition by the Luxemburg type L phi(H delta infinity)-integrability, where phi can be either a convex or a concave nonnegative function. Typical examples of phi include phi(t) = tp, phi(t) = ept - 1 and phi(t) = log+ o o log+ t, where p E (0, oo) and log+ t := max{log t, 0}. (c) 2025 Elsevier Inc.
