Abstract:

This work proposes a triple phase-shift (TPS) control for a dual active bridge (DAB) DC-DC converter with reconfigurable transformer (RTDAB) to improve its efficiency over a wide voltage range. By optimizing the inductor rms current of the RTDAB under TPS control in different working modes, the proposed control method can achieve a lower rms current under a wide voltage range. The proposed control method is obtained on the basis of the traditional TPS control of DAB converter and does not require complicated mathematical processing. The control approach is easy to implement. Finally, simulation results on the MATLAB/Simulink platform demonstrate the efficiency of the suggested strategy. © 2024 IEEE.
