Abstract:
In order to address the problem of balancing real-time performance and communication quality in real-time video transmission, this paper proposes a packet-level sliding window FEC encoding scheme that improves the probability of single-frame recovery by repeating the encoded data of the previous window. Based on this, the FEC adaptive redundancy algorithm is improved according to the playable frame rate, and a delay control algorithm is combined to reduce the total decoding delay of video transmission. Experimental analysis shows that the proposed transmission scheme performs better than traditional transmission schemes in terms of playable frame rate (PFR) and peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR), and has lower delay. © 2023 IEEE.
