Abstract:
Because of the characteristics of energy conservation and environmental protection, energy saving LED lamps are used in different lighting places. This paper promotes the development of LED dimming technology. This thesis proposes a multi-channel digital PWM dimming system based on OC8051 soft-core for the application requirements. The soft-core of OC8051 is optimized, a multi-channel digital PWM controller, signal decoding unit and driving circuit are designed and implemented on FPGA. The system core uses a clock of 16MHz, supports dimming range from 0%-100%, supports four PWM signal output, and the frequency can reach 61Hz-8MHz. The digital PWM dimming system works stably and can be used to adjust the brightness and color of LED. © 2021 IEEE.
