Research on New Steel Damping Slide Bearings of Girder Bridge with Shaking Table Test
Translated Abstract
Seismic dissipation and isolation effect of a new steel damping slide bearing was analyzed in this paper. A two-span simply supported girder bridge with a continuous deck was taken as research background project. A shaking table test of the bridge model was conducted using a three-shaking table system. Three bearings were analyzed including ordinary laminated rubber bearing, high damping rubber bearing and steel damping slide bearing. The results show that when the earthquake dynamic peak is small( E1 earthquake action) ,seismic dissipation and isolation effects of steel damping slide bearing and high damping rubber bearing are close and outweigh ordinary laminated rubber bearing. As the earthquake dynamic peak increases( E2 earthquake action) ,steel damping slide bearing outweighs the other two bearings in terms of seismic dissipation and isolation effect. The experimental test verified the feasibility of application of steel damping slide bearing into simply supported girder bridges with a continuous deck.
