Abstract:

  Inroduction:Antifungal proteins play an important role in the defense of crops against fungal infection.Identification of those antifungal proteins is vital to the understanding of the natural defense mechanism of plants and crops.It can also provide useful clues in the development of biologically effective and environment-friendly pest management agents to replace traditional chemical pesticides.Our objective in this study was to isolate novel proteins with antifungal activity from black soybean.
