Abstract:

In line with the routine dissolved oxygen concentration profile during fermentation and by ARMCE algorithm, a three-input Fuzzy-PID controller was designed and a computer control system was established to regulate the oxygen supply in industrial scale of kanamycin fermentation process. The controller overcame the shortcomings of common controller and displayed a satisfactory optimal control of DO concentration for energy saving.
