Abstract:

Four beam-column joints with partially prestressed concrete flat beam are tested under reversed cyclic lateral loading in this paper. The aseismatic behaviors of beam-column joints such as transform capacity, energy dissipating capacity, ductility and stiffness deterioration etc. are studied. Based on the results of the four-joint tests, the failure mechanism of the beam-column joints of frame under reversed cyclic load is analysed.
