Abstract:

Flux-switching machine is a motor with permanent magnet located in stator, thus it has advantage with good heat dissipation. In this paper, a novel double winding structure and rotor suspension control strategy are proposed. The suspension winding adopts six-phase structure with every two coils symmetrical in space connected in series in view of overcoming the disturbance caused by power winding to suspension winding. In order to obtain maximum suspension force per ampere, the control strategy of suspension force in which orthogonal suspension windings work alternately is utilized. Mathematical model and control principle of rotor suspension control are analyzed, and the simulation results verify the feasibility of the strategy. © 2016 IEEE.
