Abstract:
This paper proposed a no-arc control topology of intelligent contactor, which was suitable for AC / DC circuits. The control topology combined with the advantages of the existing main AC / DC arc-quenching technologies, based on the type of main circuit's power, it was adaptive to enable application program. The topology contains the advantages of the hybrid switching technology and the forced zero-crossing technology to realize no-arc motion of contact in DC system. The arc extinguishing methods were not limited by the influence of the action of the electromagnetic mechanism by introducing the feedback signal of contact current. The application of phase-selection closing in electronic switch which could effectively inhibit the inrush current in AC system, in the mean time, zero-current-breaking technology was used to realize no-arc breaking of contact. The action process of contactor was optimized by combining the rapid demagnetization circuit of electromagnetic system. The working principle of the proposed circuit topology was analyzed by simulations and experiments, and the effectiveness of the proposed scheme was verified.
