Abstract:
The large-scale construction of high-speed rail (HSR) network is generally considered to have a significant impact on the spatial distribution of accessibility and the economy of the cities along the line. In this paper, the development status of Fujian Province as the background. Based on the current situation of high-speed rail development in Fujian province, this paper measures the weighted average travel time, daily accessibility and potential accessibility, and analyzes the impact of nine prefecture-level cities' accessibility and regional economy on the development of high-speed rail in Fujian province in the medium and long term planning of rail network. The results demonstrate that, with the gradual development of the HSR network, the spatial distance of the province will be greatly shortened, which will bring significant economic benefits to the cities, but this will result in uneven distribution of income in these areas. © 2019 Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Logistics and Systems Engineering 2018.
