Abstract:

Several relevant correlations were obtained by regressing Eckert's current correlative graph. The max. error in calculation is 18.5%, and the average error 4.96%. It can satisfy the needs of calculation in engineering design. The results of calculation by using the obtained correlations in the design of vacuum distillation tower were satisfactory. Three floodingpoint lines were also correlated.
