Abstract:
The quantum teleportation of an unknown atomic state was examined using optical systems and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). The scheme of teleportation was also used to teleport an unknown state of an ion to another ion in a linear trap. The second ion was drived with a laser tuned to the lower vibrational sideband. It was concluded that the scheme could be used to teleport the state of a cavity mode to another mode using a single atom.
