Abstract:
Based on the optimum design of mix proportion for self-compacting concrete, experimental study of self-compacting concrete was conducted. The anchorage bond properties between self-compacting concrete and steels and the flexure and shear properties of flexural members were investigated. Pull-out tests on bond strength of 62 members and flexure and shear tests on bearing property of 12 beams were performed. The results offer useful references for the design of self-compacting concrete construction. The engineering applications of self-compacting concrete in three tall buildings and a workshop reinforcement project are introduced.
