Abstract:
Temperature field tests of two CFST members under solar radiation were carried out, in which one was placed vertically and another was placed horizontally. Analyses of the test results indicate that the temperature field of CFST member under solar radiation is unsymmetrical. Temperature in center point is influenced by all direction's temperature variation, but more by the solar radiation direction. The lowest surface temperature of the two members occurs at the same time, and is close to air temperature. Except the center point, the lag of temperature variation of the member to atmosphere increase in radial direction to the center point. Temperature varies more great in the surface exposed to the sunshine than in the shade. Temperature variation of two members is different because of different placed way. Under the same solar radiation, the top temperature of the center point of horizontally placed member occurs one hour earlier than that of the vertically placed one; temperature variation of the horizontally placed member is greater than that of the vertically placed one. Analysis shows that the radial temperature distribution can be demonstrated by cubic polynomial.
