Abstract:

The fatigue damage process of alumina ceramics synthesized from waste alumina slag was quantitatively analyzed with system analysis method. The main impact factor on fatigue damage of alumina ceramics was determined by means of XRD and SEM. The results show that the longest crack initiation life is 6100 cycles for the alumina ceramics sintered at 1450°C, in which the structure is composed of 30% glass phase and 70% crystal phase.
