Abstract:
A method of induction motor modeling is proposed for the study of voltage flicker transfer. Based on the voltage equations, electromagnetic torque equations and basic motion equations, the dynamic phasor method is applied to establish the dynamic phasor model of the three-phase induction motor with fluctuant source voltage. The quantitative calculation of stator current is realized and the influences of induction motor parameters on fluctuant stator current and rotor mechanical angular velocity are analyzed. The quantitative calculation of induction motor voltage is realized with the stator current calculation formula. The influence of motor-type load on voltage flicker transfer is studied by comparing the flicker frequency components of RMS values between source voltage and motor voltage, and the frequency characteristics of flicker transfer coefficient are presented. Results show that the induction motor restrains the flicker at most flicker frequencies. The correctness of theoretical analysis is verified by simulation.
