Abstract:

Technical system of concrete filled steel tubular (CFST) arch bridges has been preliminarily formed after widely application and theoretical studies in China in the last 20 years. As the first code for CFST arch bridges in the world, the local engineering construction standard of Fujian Province, China-« Technical specification for concrete filled steel tubular arch bridges» DBJ/T13-136-2011, is suitable for highway and urban CFST arch bridges, contenting their design, construction and maintenance. This paper gives a brief introduction of this specification.
