This　paper　is　intended　to　review　the　state-of-the-art　research　and　applications　of　the　Prestressed　Composite　Bridges　(PCB).　Important　references　related　to　the　research　and　applications　of　PCB　in　China　are　included.　Topics　of　specific　interests　have　been　discussed　such　as　ultimate　load-carrying　capacity,　buckling,　time-dependent　effects,　design　methods,　design　codes　and　practical　applications.　Future　research　aspects　are　also　identified.
