Abstract:

A finite element method incorporating the material and geometric non-linearity is presented to analyze the behavior of Concrete-Filled Steel Tubular (CFST) arch with truss rib. In this approach, beam element, CFST composite constitutive relation and the mixed procedure solution method are used. Using this technique, one real CFST truss arch bridge is analyzed and some valuable results are obtained.
