Abstract:
Partially cable-stayed bridge is a new type bridge which structural system behaves between common cable-stayed bridge and girder bridge, and its structural system's, parametric is variable. Changing of the system's parametric influences the dynamic response of the whole bridge's structure. The study is based on the important engineering project-Pushang Bridge over Wulong River in Fuzhou, which is an example partially cable-stayed prestressed concrete bridge having special supporting system. In vertical sight there are three towers and four spans in the main bridge, and each tower stands at double side of the deck. The middle tower, girder and pier are consolidated, therefore the side towers and piers are also consolidated but the girder is supported on the piers. The structural static performance of partially cable-stayed bridge is analyzed. A three-dimensional finite-element vibration evaluation model is developed to stimulate the bridge, mainly analyses the natural frequency of vibration and mode shapes of this structural system. The dynamic characteristics of partially cable-stayed bridge are then analyzed. Comparison between common cable-stayed bridge and girder bridge shows that this type of bridge has its own vibration performance.
