Abstract:
The aim of the study is to discuss the role of modern information technology in energy supply chain quality management. For the purpose of our study, we analyzed and deconstructed the quality information structure model of energy supply chain firstly, followed by introduction of modern information technology which can be used in the energy supply chain quality management, and finally put forward suggestions on how to use modern information technology to improve energy supply quality management. Findings suggest that between suppliers and users in energy supply chain there is a much greater emphasis on the modern information technology. Moreover, detailed insights from the field with regard to how energy supply chain should utilize the modern information technology to improve quality management are offered.
