Abstract:
Dipping SiC kiln furniture into Ca-3(PO4)(2) saturated solution is benefiticial to its crystalline structure change and its properties. Tt helped the SIC structure change from low-temperature stable type to high-temperature stable type. The percentage of alpha -type SiC increased with the dipping times and it reached the highest (81.1%) after 4 times(once 10 min). The properties of SiC also improved with the dipping times. The apparent porosity and water absorption were the lowest, the bulk density and heat-resistant property were the highest after dipping for 4 times.
