Abstract:

A novel compound NaSbMoO5 has been synthesized by hydrothermal method and structurally characterized. by X-ray crystallography. The structure contains layers made up Of MoO4 and SbO4 units while sodium cations reside between two layers. IR, UV-Vis DRIS, fluorescent spectra and the thermogravimetric analysis of this compound were investigated. (C) 2003 Published by Elsevier B.V.
