Abstract:
The development of logistics industry is a prerequisite in the modern world economy and can contribute positively to other industries. Improving the development of high-tech equipment manufacturing industry has been an important target of government and local economic development agencies in China. Studying the endogenous coordination between logistics industry and high-tech equipment manufacturing industry will reveal the mutual promotion relationship between two industries and provide useful information for future industrial development strategy design. This study develops a framework for evaluating the coordinated development degrees of high-tech equipment manufacturing industry and logistics industry, where both differences and similarities of assessments from different evaluators are considered. A novel interval grey number reciprocal judgment matrix based AHP is provided. This method extends AHP by allowing for the specification of additional independent and uncertain data and constraints. Through the use of matrix transformation theory and grey system theory, it can provide more comprehensive evaluations and expand its application in many other fields. An empirical study of several provinces in China shows the effectiveness of this new method.
