Abstract :

Conventional tumor therapeutic modalities, such as radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and surgery, involve low tumor inhibition efficiency, non-targeted drug delivery, and side effects. The development of novel and practical nano-drug delivery systems (DDSs) for targeted tumor therapy has become particularly important. Among various bioactive nanoparticles, chitosan is considered a suitable candidate for drug delivery due to its non- toxicity, good biocompatibility, and biodegradability. The amino and hydroxyl groups of chitosan endow it with the diverse function of chemical modification, thereby improving its physical and biological properties to meet the requirements of advanced biomedical applications. Therefore, it is necessary to review the property and applications of chitosan-based materials in biomedicine. In this review, the characteristics of chitosan related to its applications are first introduced, and then the preparation and modification of chitosan-based nanoparticles, including the function tailoring of chitosan-modified nanoparticles, are demonstrated and discussed. Finally, the opportunities and challenges of chitosan-based nanomaterials in this emerging field are proposed from the perspective of the rational and systematic design for the biomedicine field.

Abstract :

Synthesis of lignin-based carbon dots (LCDs) with high quantum yield (QY), stable fluorescence properties and biocompatibility has been a challenge. Here, we propose an improved two-step strategy for producing highquality LCDs from enzymatic hydrolysis lignin (EHL). The p-aminobenzenesulfonic acid used in the strategy not only provides nitrogen and sulfur elements, but also tailors the disordered three-dimensional structure of EHL. The successful co-doping of N and S elements favors the reduction of the optical energy bandgap (Eg), resulting in a high QY of 45.05% for LCDs. The LCDs exhibited superior selectivity and sensitivity for Fe3+ with a limit of detection (LOD) of 0.15 & mu;M when Fe3+ concentration was 50-500 & mu;M. In addition, LCDs demonstrated significant fluorescence in HepG2 cells and HepG2 cells loaded with LCDs at a concentration of 80 & mu;g/mL showed good viability, suggesting that they are suitable for in vivo applications. The luminescent centers of LCDs change during pH regulation and thus show a special visual response to pH changes, making them have great potential for detecting metabolism in living cells. This work provides a novel and low-cost method for fabricating sustainable fluorescent probes for chemical sensing and bioimaging.

Abstract :

The Dong Ding oolong tea (DDT), grown and produced in Taiwan, is widely appreciated for its unique flavor. Despite its popularity, research on the aroma components of DDT remains incomplete. To address this gap, this study employed a sensomics approach to comprehensively characterize the key aroma compounds in DDT. Firstly, sensory evaluation showed that DDT had a prominent caramel aroma. Subsequent analysis using gas chromatography-olfactory mass spectrometry (GC-O-MS) and comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography time-of-flight mass spectrometry (GC x GC-TOF-MS) identified a total of 23 aroma-active compounds in DDT. Notably, three pyrazine compounds with roasted notes, namely 2-ethyl-5-methylpyrazine, 2-ethyl-3,5-dimethylpyrazine, and 2,3-diethyl-5-methylpyrazine, along with seven floral- and fruit-smelling compounds, namely 6-methyl-5-hepten-2-one, 3,5-octadien-2-one, linalool, (E)-linalool oxide, geraniol, (Z)-jasmone, and (E)-nerolidol, were identified as the key aroma compounds of DDT. Omission experiments further validated the significant contribution of the three pyrazines to the caramel aroma of DDT. Moreover, the content of 2-ethyl-3,5-dimethylpyrazine, 2,3-diethyl-5-methylpyrazine, (Z)-jasmone, 6-methyl-5-hepten-2-one and 2-ethyl-5-methylpyrazine was found to be higher in the high-grade samples, while (E)-nerolidol, linalool, geraniol and 3,5-octadien-2-one were found to be more abundant in the medium-grade samples. These findings provide valuable information for a better understanding of the flavor attributes of DDT.

Abstract :

The distinctive fragrance of Wuyi Rock Tea (WRT) has garnered high attention in recent years. Herein, we conducted a comprehensive comparison of the sensory attributes and odor-active compounds (OACs) between two quintessential WRTs, namely Rougui (RGT) and Shuixian (SXT). Sensory analysis revealed that RGT exhibited a more pronounced fruity aroma, while SXT had a more complex and intricate sensory profile. By using gas chromatography-olfactory mass spectrometry (GC-O-MS) and two-dimensional gas chromatography time-of-flight mass spectrometry (GC x GC-TOF-MS) analyses, 26 OACs were identified. Among them, 12 compounds with odor activity values > 1 were recognized as key OACs. Noteworthily, eight compounds, including 6-methyl-5-hepten-2-one, 2-ethyl-3,5-dimethylpyrazine, 2,3-diethyl-5-methylpyrazine, linalool, methyl salicylate, gera-niol, (E)-8-ionone, and (E)-nerolidol, were shared by both teas. The unique compounds for RGT were (E)-linalool oxide and (Z)-jasmone, while those for SXT were 8-cyclocitral and alpha-ionone. These findings offer valuable in-sights for better understanding the flavor differences between the two most important types of WRT.

Abstract :

Although an efficient and stable fiber coating is essential for the development of the solid-phase microextraction (SPME) technique, it remains a challenging prospect. We report herein the construction of graphitic carbon nitride derivative (g-C3N4-d) nanosheets having a large surface area, large mesopores (3.15 and 36.6 nm), and abundant adsorption sites, and the application of coating g-C3N4-d on an SPME fiber. The coated SPME fiber combined with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) was used for the determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). The coating contained large mesopores that accommodated large target molecules and promoted molecular diffusion inside the coating sorbent. The coating demonstrated significant extraction capability toward PAHs because of multiple interactions, including hydrophobic and strong pi-pi interactions. Under optimal conditions, the limits of detection for PAHs were achieved within the range of 0.01-0.10 ng L-1. The method developed to detect eight PAHs in six river water samples from different cities, and the recoveries were ranging from 83.3 to 103.0%. The g-C3N4-d nanosheet-coated fiber was sufficiently stable to be recycled more than 200 times without obvious loss of extraction capacity. This study describes the development of a novel SPME adsorbent having excellent analytical properties.

Abstract :

采用样品中衍生结合中空纤维液相微萃取技术,与高效液相色谱-荧光检测器进行联用,对水中的腐胺、尸胺、酪胺、亚精胺和精胺等五种常见的生物胺进行检测.讨论了中空纤维液相微萃取过程中,萃取时间、萃取温度、搅拌速度等条件对萃取效率的影响.结果 表明,五种生物胺的峰形和分离效果都比较好,加标实际水样的回收率和精密度也令人满意.对标准工作曲线的相关性分析结果显示,五种生物胺在0.10-100 mg/L这一线性范围内具有良好的线性,可用于实际水样中生物胺的测定.

<正>正文:生物胺是一类具有生物活性的含氮低分子量有机化合物的总称,常存在于动植物体及食物中。水体中的生物死亡后,细菌分解其尸体产生一定量的生物胺,造成水体污染。当人类过量摄入后会引起诸如头痛、恶心、心悸、血压变化、呼吸紊乱、肾中毒等过敏反应,更甚者还会危及生命。所以对水样中的生物胺含量的监测十分必要。

利用CATIA创建某一型号压气机的三维流场模型,并将其导入ICEM作网格划分处理.利用Fluent软件对其作三维非定常流动模拟分析;以原压气机模型原始数据为基础,对叶轮参数(叶片个数、厚度等)作相应更改,并在同样的工况条件下作三维瞬态数值模拟.对比分析所得流场分布云图,研究叶轮叶片个数、厚度对其工作性能表现的影响,用以指导压气机的工程设计与优化.

本文以常存在于水中的五种生物胺(腐胺PUT.、尸胺CAD.、组胺HIS.、亚精胺SPD.、精胺SPM.)作为分析对象,优化了液相色谱的测定条件(流动相、发射波长、梯度洗脱程序等)、生物胺的衍生条件以及分散液液微萃取的萃取条件,建立了分散液液微萃取-液相色谱-荧光检测技术应用于检测水中五种生物胺残留的方法.
