Abstract :
A scheme is proposed for fast generation of entangled states in directly coupled bimodal-mode cavities based on shortcuts to adiabatic passage. The scheme can be realized by transitionless quantum driving with the help of quantum Zeno dynamics and non-resonant lasers. First, we simplify the system by the quantum Zeno dynamics. Then, under the large detuning condition, we get the effective Hamiltonian which is equivalent to the corresponding counter-diabatic driving Hamiltonian to speed up the evolution process. The effects of decoherence induced by atomic spontaneous emission, leakage of the cavity and operational imperfection are also taken into account. The numerical simulation result shows that this scheme is robust against these factors. During realizing the scheme, the laser pulses are not strongly limited and the auxiliary levels or multi-step operations are not needed. Moreover, for any quantum system whose Hamiltonian is possible to be simplified into the same form in the paper, the corresponding alternative physically feasible Hamiltonian can be built with present method, which provides a scalable way for the preparation of entangled states in theory.

Abstract :
A scheme is proposed to implement quantum state engineering (QSE) in a four-state system via counterdiabatic driving. In the scheme, single- and multi-mode driving methods are used respectively to drive the system to a target state at a predefined time. It is found that a fast QSE can be realized by utilizing simply designed pulses. In addition, a beneficial discussion on the energy consumption between the single- and multi-mode driving protocols shows that the multi-mode driving method seems to have a wider range of applications than the single-mode driving method with respect to different parameters. Finally, the scheme is also helpful for implementing the generalization QSE in high-dimensional systems via the concept of a dressed state. Therefore, the scheme can be implemented with the present experimental technology, which is useful in quantum information processing.

Abstract :
An experimental investigation of the saturation ion current densities (Jons) in hydrogen inductively coupled plasma (ICP) produced by a large-power (2-32 kW) radio frequency (RF) generator is reported, then some reasonable explanations are given out. With the increase of RF power, the experimental results show three stages: in the first stage (2-14 kW), the electron temperature will rise with the increase of RF power in the ICP, thus, the J(ions) increases continually as the electron temperature rises in the ICP. In the second stage (14-20 kW), as some H- ions lead to the mutual neutralization (MN), the slope of J(ions) variation firstly decreases then increases. In the third stage (20-32 kW), both the electronic detachment (ED) and the associative detachment (AD) in the ICP result in the destruction of H- ions, therefore, the increased amplitude of the J(ions) in the third stage is weaker than the one in the first stage. In addition, with the equivalent transformer model, we successfully explain that the J(ions) at different radial locations in ICP has the same rule. Finally, it is found that the J(ions) has nothing to do with the outer/inner puffing gas pressure ratio, which is attributed to the high-speed movement of hydrogen molecules.

Abstract :
H-alpha (Balmer-alpha), H-beta (Balmer-beta) and H-gamma (Balmer-gamma) spectral line intensities in atomic hydrogen plasma are investigated by using a high-power RF source. The intensities of the H-alpha, H-beta and H-gamma spectral lines are detected by increasing the input power (0-6 kW) of ICPs (inductively coupled plasmas). With the increase of net input power, the intensity of H-alpha improves rapidly (0-2 kW), and then reaches its dynamic equilibrium; the intensities of H-beta can be divided into three processes: obvious increase (0-2 kW), rapid increase (2-4 kW), almost constant (4-6 kW); while the intensities of H-gamma increase very slowly. The energy levels of the excited hydrogen atoms and the splitting energy levels produced by an obvious Stark effect play an important role in the results.

Abstract :
We compare Balmer-alpha (H-alpha) and Balmer-beta (H-beta) emissions from high-power (1.0-6.0 kW) hydrogen inductively coupled plasmas (ICPs), and propose region I (0.0-2.0 kW), region II (2.0-5.0 kW), and region III (5.0-6.0 kW). In region I, both H a emission intensity (I-alpha) and H-beta emission intensity (I-beta) increase with radio frequency (RF) power, which is explained by the corona model and Boltzmann's law, etc. However, in region II, I-alpha almost remains constant while I-beta rapidly achieves its maximum value. In region III, I a slightly increases with RF power, while I-beta decreases with RF power, which deviates significantly from the theoretical explanation for the H-alpha and H-beta emissions in region I. It is suggested that two strong electric fields are generated in high-power (2.0-6.0 kW) hydrogen ICPs: one is due to the external electric field of high-power RF discharge, and the other one is due to the micro electric field of the ions and electrons around the exited state hydrogen atoms in ICPs. Therefore, the strong Stark effect can play an important role in explaining the experimental results.

Abstract :
This study aimed to that waste circuit boards in batches were incinerated by thermal plasma. Firstly, the working principle of plasma incinerator and the exhaust gas treatment main process were introduced, then, the experimental results was analyzed and discussed. Due to the thermal plasma processing waste incineration furnace has high temperature (1200 degrees C above), all the organic ingredients in waste circuit boards, including dioxin, can be decomposed completely in a few milliseconds, no showing the secondary pollution and no producing furans and other carcinogens. In addition, after main exhaust gas (CO, NO) concentration change with time was carefully tracked, it was found that a large amount of CO gas was produced and NO gas concentration was within national safety limits during experiment. Although 44.4 kg sample was incinerated, more than 1 kg of small pieces of metal like Copper was obtained from the cooling molten slag. Finally, it was obvious that the volume and weight of molten slag was far less than the ones of sample. The experimental result has important practical significance for protecting the environment, obtaining more CO gas resource and retrieving a variety of rare metals (such as Gold, Copper, Silver, Platinum, etc.).

Abstract :
In high-power RF ion source, three different regions of the H-beta and H-gamma intensities in the Balmer series of spectral lines for atomic hydrogen plasma were investigated. Three different regions of the H-beta and H-gamma intensities were detected by the increase of input power (0-6 kW) at ICP. In hydrogen plasma spectrum, the H-beta and H-gamma intensities showed three processes: slowly increase, quickly increase and stable saturation. The Stark effect in strong electrical field plays a crucial role in dominating the Balmer H-beta and H-gamma emissions from high-density RF plasma.

This paper estimates the electrical energy loss on high-temperature plasma processing waste printed circuit boards. Using three plasma torch powers in big output power (60W) and a plasma torch power in relatively small output power (30W), after 4.5 hours of high-temperature plasma incineration, 43 kilograms of waste printed circuit boards was successively fused at high temperature plasma incinerator. After calculating, the total electrical energy loss for four powers was about 1,070 kilowatts . hours during sample incineration.

Abstract :
We report on the characteristics of argon inductively coupled plasma (ICP) for the ITER neutral beam injection system. In argon ICP, it was found by using Langmuir probe that the radial distribution of electronic density (N-e) was uniform while the radial distributions of both electron temperature (kT(e)) and electric potential (V-P) were non-uniform. The former depend on two factors: the variation of N-e was small, and the value of N-e was very large. The latter is owing to the generation and disappearance of the negative ions in the ICP, where the additional dynamic processes produce the instability. In addition, both kT(e) and V-P profiles were very similar at the cylinder height H=14 cm, which proves the plasma sheath theory to some extent. Finally, both kT(e) and V-P began-flatter with the reduction of the cylinder height, which is owing to the decrease of the negative ions in the ICP.
