Abstract :
This paper examines whether and how green manufacturing enhances corporate environmental performances. We find that the green manufacturing policy significantly improves firm environmental performance. Mechanisms analysis show that green manufacturing will affect corporate environmental performances through fostering corporate green innovation, relieving financing constraints, and promoting environmental information disclosure. The impacts of green manufacturing on corporate environmental performances are more pronounced in non-state-owned firms, firms with lower environmentally regulated level, heavily polluting firms, and largescale companies. Finally, we find that the green manufacturing policy can also improve firm overall ESG performance. This paper contributes to the growing literature on firm environmental behavior and proposes tailored policy implications for the government to address the challenges of green development.

Abstract :
Prior to putting energy security plans into action, it is crucial to conduct a scientific and methodical assessment of energy security. The energy security level of 30 Chinese provinces from 2008 to 2019 is measured quantitatively using an energy security index system. Secondly, two machine learning methods, random forest and KNN model, are applied to fit the energy security level of each province. Finally, using the random forest technique, the key risk factors affecting energy security are mined. Our study shows that (1) Energy security levels are inversely correlated with energy load centers and vary widely within China, albeit the disparity is closing. (2) Supply security is the bottom line of energy security, while energy carbon intensity and raw coal and crude oil consumption are also important indicators affecting the level of energy security. (3) The machine learning approach can more accurately match and forecast the level of energy security. These findings provide theoretical support and practical guidance to optimize energy evolution security management and risk notification. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

Abstract :
This paper examines whether and how internal whistleblowing enhances corporate pollution control. We find that setting up an internal whistleblowing system help to reduce the firms' SO2 emission intensity. Our findings are robust after implementing a series of endogeneity test. Further, we show that the impacts of internal whistleblowing on corporate pollution emission are more pronounced in firms facing stronger environmental monitoring, firms contribute more to the local economy, state-owned enterprises, firms with lower litigation risk, and firm with more information disclosed. Finally, we find that internal whistleblowing helps to promote the effectiveness of internal control and improve the corporate social responsibility to inhibit enterprise pollution. This paper is the first to explore how employee monitoring reduce firm pollutant emission, contributing to the growing literature on firm environmental behavior.

In marketing, customer segmentation is a very critical element. This paper focuses on clustering algorithms. First, the commonly used K-means algorithm was introduced, and then, it was optimized using the improved Lion Swarm Optimization (ILSO) algorithm and the Calinski-Harabasz (CH) index. The results of the experiment for the UCI dataset showed that the CH indicator obtained an accurate number of clusters, and the clustering accuracy of the ILSO-K-means algorithm was higher, both above 90%. Then, in customer segmentation, the customers of an enterprise were divided into four groups using the ILSO-K-means algorithm, and different marketing suggestions were given. The experimental analysis proves the usability of the ILSO-K-means algorithm in customer segmentation, which can be further applied in practice.

With the development and popularity of mobile networks, online shopping has gradually become a trend. For enterprises, the traditional marketing mode has been difficult to play an effective role when facing the emerging online shopping mode. This study aims to improve the revenue benefits of online shopping. This paper first introduces the traditional marketing mode and then selects the data mining model used for consumption preference segmentation to build an online marketing mode. An example analysis was conducted on a book sales company and a real estate company. The results showed that more users in this community preferred five types of books, and the percentages from high to low were teaching and learning materials, modern novels, popular science books, historical literature, and classical novels; more customers preferred online platforms among the channels for collecting information on home purchase. No matter it was the book sales company or the real estate company, compared with no fluctuation in the company's turnover under the traditional marketing mode, the turnover of the company increased month by month after adopting the online marketing mode. © 2022 - IOS Press. Abstract :
With the development of e-commerce, more and more enterprises attach importance to precision marketing for network channels. This study adopted the decision tree algorithm in data mining to achieve precision marketing. Firstly, precision marketing and C4.5 decision tree algorithm were briefly introduced. Then e-commerce enterprise A was taken as an example. The data from January to June 2018 were collected. Four attributes including age, income, occupation and educational background were selected for calculation and decision tree was established to extract classification rules.The results showed that the consumers of the products of the company were high-income young and middle-aged people, middle-income young people, middle-income middle-aged and elderly people with a college degree or above, low-income middle-aged people with a college degree or above and low-income elderly people with a state-owned enterprise. After precision marketing to these customers, it was found that the monthly sales volume of the enterprise increased by 22.82% and the marketing cost decreased by 28.21 %, which verified the effectiveness and application value of precision marketing and showed that the decision tree algorithm could provide enterprises with decision support in precision marketing.

Abstract :
After entering the 21st century, the economic and scientific and technological levels of China show a tendency of rapid rise. On account of it, medical level is also developing, and the requirements for medical institutes and equipments have become stricter. In recent years, the medical facility market in China is facing a complicated environment, and many traditional medical facilities have been gradually replaced. Medical marketing plays a crucial role in improving the position of Chinese medical facilities in the industry. In the perspective of the current new environment, this study investigated the marketing strategies of Chinese medical facilities, aiming to provide a reference for their positive development in the new environment.

Based on real situations of supply chain network among enterprise alliances, this paper takes certain factors in every round of supply chain into consideration to establish robust model of supply chain network design. Before that, the strategy “decomposition- coordination” is adopted to get solutions optimizing supply chain system, putting focus on the analysis of supplier selection cost and decision-making cost of supply chain facilities, which is integrated and coordinated through activity-based costing. After the model establishment, examples are used to illustrate practicability and effectiveness of the model and algorithm. © 2016 SERSC.
