Unified stability criteria for impulsive stochastic delayed systems SCIE

Abstract :

This paper investigates the pth moment exponential stability of impulsive stochastic delayed systems (ISDS). New stability criteria for ISDS are developed by applying the Razumikhin approach and a novel concept of average random impulsive estimation (ARIE). Stochastic impulsive strength, the time -varying delay in continuous dynamics, and the impulsive delay are considered simultaneously, and there are no imposed restrictions on their sizes. Utilizing ARIE, the proposed control scheme with stabilizing impulse can still ensure the stability of the whole system under the presence of impulsive perturbations at some impulsive instants, that is, it allows some impulsive intensities at impulsive instants are greater than 1 or a certain threshold which is more than 1. In addition, the requirement for the sign of time-derivative of Razumikhin function is also relaxed. Several illustrated examples are given to verify the effectiveness of our proposed results.

Abstract :

In this paper, we probe the pth moment exponential stability (p-ES) - ES) of stochastic delayed systems subject to event-triggered delayed impulsive control (ETDIC), where the impulsive intensities are assumed to be positive random variables. Based on event-triggered mechanism (ETM) in the sense of expectation, some new sufficient conditions are developed to ensure stability of the addressed system with Zeno-free behavior. The Lyapunov-Razumikhin method is adopted to handle the time-varying delay in continuous dynamics, and the concept average random impulsive estimation (ARIE) is introduced to reduce the design requirements of the controller. Especially, the proposed ETDIC strategy not only generates the impulse sequence according to the predesigned ETM, but also removes the limitations on the of time delays. Furthermore, the ETM serves as a solution for synchronization problems complex neural networks. Finally, two examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of conclusions.

Abstract :

In this paper, the pth moment exponential stability is investigated for impulsive stochastic time-delay systems (STDS) with random impulsive delay. A novel concept of average random delay in impulses is introduced to deal with the pth moment exponential stability of STDS, which provides a new idea for the study of the stochastic delay in impulses from a holistic perspective. Considering the impulsive effect, the destabilizing and stabilizing delayed impulses are studied, respectively. It is revealed that the random delay in impulses plays a significant role on the stability of the system, which may not only destabilize a stable system but also stabilize an unstable system. In particular, our results allow the delays in continuous dynamics and impulsive dynamics to exceed the length of the impulsive interval, which are more general than previous results. Finally, some numerical simulations are presented to illustrate our proposed results.(c) 2023 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Impact of Swapping Migration And Allee Effect in Single-species Model EI

Abstract :

In this paper, we propose two kinds of single-species models with swapping migration and Allee effect. We aim to discuss how the Allee effect and swapping migration influence the above models’ dynamical behaviours. The existence and stability of equilibria are addressed under weak Allee effect and strong Allee effect, respectively. Also we investigate the occurrence of saddle-node bifurcation which doesn’t exist in the single-species Logistic model. The corresponding dynamical behaviors are richer and more interesting than those in the traditional logistic model with dispersal. We find that both Allee effect and dispersal, especially the capacity of respective patches can make the species 'unstable'. © (2023), (International Association of Engineers). All Rights Reserved.

Abstract :

We study stochastic phenomena for a model of bacterial infection and neutrophils defense. Sufficient conditions of stochastic permanence and extinction for the random model are discussed. To explore the effect of different noises on the bacteria dynamics, we estimate the confidence intervals by the Stochastic Sensitivity Function (SSF) technique. Numerical simulations show the dramatic change of bacterial concentration induced by noises, that is, the solution with initial value near the positive deterministic equilibrium can shift into the extinct zone due to the effect of noises. Abstract :

Taking into account the environmental noises and Allee effect, we develop a regime switching model for a single species, and then we consider dynamics of species population, such as persistence, ergodicity and global attractivity. More precisely, firstly we prove the global existence of the positive solution, and then study the extinction of species, non-persistence in mean, persistence in mean and stochastic permanence. It is followed by the study of positive recurrence, ergodicity and the global attractivity. Finally, we conclude our study by a numerical example and discussions. (C) 2019 Elsevier B.V. Abstract :

This paper consider a class of bidirectional associative memory (BAM) cellular neural networks with delays. By using the fixed point theorem and differential inequality techniques, some new sufficient conditions are established for the existence, uniqueness and global exponential stability of the almost periodic solutions. The obtained sufficient conditions are easy to verify and our results complement previously known results. © 2012 IEEE.

Abstract :

This paper considers the global exponential stability and exponential convergence rate of impulsive BAM neutral networks with continuously distributed delays in which the state variables on the impulses are related to the unbounded distributed delays. By establishing a new impulsive delay differential inequality, a new criterion concerning global exponential stability for these networks is derived, which generalize and improve the previously known results. © 2010 IEEE.
