Abstract ：
The rapid expansion and implementation of digital technologies are profoundly changing our lifestyles, production methods, and modes of exchange. However, whether or not such change can help promote the sustainability of urban socio-environmental systems has not been fully investigated. In this paper, we propose a comprehensive framework that utilizes the spatial Durbin model to investigate whether and how the digital economy contributes to low-carbon urban development, using the panel data of 276 Chinese cities from 2011 to 2018. This framework systematically identifies triple dimensions of low-carbon transition taking place throughout the whole value chain system, i.e. green innovation, production reshaping, and consumption upgrading. The finding reveals that the digital economy in a city exerts a significant mitigating effect on carbon emissions in both local and neighboring cities. It is also observed that digital economy activities play a significant role in alleviating urban carbon emissions due to their capacity to stimulate green innovation and promote sustainable patterns of production and consumption. The robustness of these findings is assessed through the consideration of endogeneity and substitution of the explained and explanatory variables. This paper contributes to a systematic understanding of the linkage between the revolution of digitalization within economic systems and the transition towards sustainability within environmental systems. It also provides valuable insights to policymakers on strategies to promote and accelerate low-carbon development.

Based on the dimensions of job security and ownership, the creative class is distinguished between the self-employed and the paid-employed in this paper. Based on panel data from 2000 to 2017 in China, we find the creative class of paid-employed is more attracted by a quality of place with better ecological environment and more art and culture facilities, while the self-employed creative class seems to live and work in an area with more financial benefit and high-tech industries. This study contributes a theoretical model to explain why and how the type of the creative class is unevenly spatially distributed across China.

"精准供给"是高等教育供给侧结构性改革的核心和首要任务.作为高等教育人才培养改革的突破口,创新创业教育正经历着从"系统培育"向"精准精益"的转化,迫切需要与思想政治教育深入契合、精准发力.目前,双创教育与思政教育的融合发展存在供给价值观耦合程度不强、供给载体单一刻板、供给资源共享性不足以及供给模式趋同化等问题.以供给侧结构性改革视域进行考量,高校双创教育与思政教育需在供给基础、供给取向、供给方式以及供给机制等方面提高供给的精准性,从而实现协同育人.

Air pollution in China has become a matter of increasing public concern. In this paper, we attempted to build a theoretical model to explore the impact of the dynamics of agglomeration externalities on haze pollution in urban China, where agglomeration is differentiated by regional specialization and geographical concentration. Based on China's panel data for 289 cities during the period of 1998-2018, the empirical result shows that the relationship between industrial agglomeration and urban haze pollution is not simply linear or of an inversed U-type but turns out to be dynamically N-shaped. To be specific, the increase in local haze pollution can be explained by agglomeration externalities in the beginning stage, whereas the reducing effect only occurs during the mature stage. The heterogeneity test indicated that the effect of the type of agglomeration on haze pollution seems to be mixed in different groups of cities, but is still consistent with the hypothesis of the dynamic change of agglomeration externalities. The results are found to be quite robust and consistent after replacing variables and using other regression methods. This paper provides answers to the question of how to coordinate the relationship between developing industry parks and air pollution in terms of the life cycle of agglomeration as well as the types of city.
