A Non-Contact Voltage Measurement Technology for Three-Phase Cables EI

Abstract :

This paper proposes a non-contact measurement technique for the voltage of three-phase cables. The technique initially constructs an optimized analytical calculation model for the electric field distribution of three-phase cables. Subsequently, by combining measured electric field data from an array-type capacitive sensor and utilizing the potential coefficient matrix obtained through physical calculations, it enables precise determination of the voltages on the three-phase conductors. The maximum error does not exceed 3.3%. © 2025 IEEE.

Abstract :

To enhance the electromagnetic protection performance of ultra-low power Electronic Current Transformer (ECT), a damping oscillatory wave (DOW) disturbance test is conducted on it. A method for generating parallel resonant DOWs is proposed, which involves two-stage following and amplification of the initial waveform, enabling a maximum voltage of over 12V. Finally, considering the characteristics of the output signal from the four-level encoding module of ultra-low power ECT, electromagnetic interference countermeasures combining Transient Voltage Suppressor diodes with RC low-pass filters are proposed. Experimental results show that the four-level encoding module is extremely sensitive to voltage fluctuations due to the nonlinear relationship between the voltage and current of the LED. The normal operation of the four-level encoding module can be ensured through anti-interference measures. © 2025 IEEE.

Abstract :

During the inspection of transmission lines by unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), the captured images are typically transmitted to the cloud for processing, and currently, online detection cannot be performed locally on the UAV. This paper proposes a lightweight model based on an improved wavelet scattering convolutional network that enables local online identification of defects and foreign objects on edge devices. This lightweight model comprises an improved wavelet scattering network and a small convolutional neural network (CNN). The improved wavelet scattering network is more flexible than the classical network and can effectively extract the key features of the picture; The small CNN is divided into two parts: a four-layer convolutional network section for further extraction of small target features, and a three-layer fully connected for feature recognition and classification. Experimental results demonstrate that this lightweight model exhibits strong generalization and real-time performance, with accuracy rates for defect and foreign object identification exceeding 90%. The recognition speed is three times faster than that of YOLOv5s and nearly four times faster than YOLOv8s. The recognition speed on various edge devices exceeds 30 frames per second (FPS), meeting the 30FPS of UAV-captured videos, and reaching up to 153.8 FPS on Orange Pi 5B, enabling local online detection frame by frame. © 2025 IEEE.

Abstract :

An optical voltage sensor with an arbitrary electric field direction modulation (AEFDM) mode is proposed to increase the half-wave voltage. The mode is realized by heterogeneous electrodes arranged in a center-symmetric way, and generates an electric field with a direction at an arbitrary angle to the light propagation direction. The finite element method and coupling wave theory are used to design and optimize the electrodes and field distribution. The experimental results show that heterogeneous electrodes and AEFDM mode are able to regulate the sensor’s half-wave voltage in a range from 1 to 30 times (47-1409 kV), with 0.5 class accuracy and 99.99% linearity. This novel AEFDM method proposes a new electrode shape and position, reducing temperature drift to 50% compared to solid-state voltage divider method. © 2024 IOP Publishing Ltd.

Abstract :

Dirac degeneracy is a fourfold band crossing point in a three-dimensional momentum space, which possesses Fermi-arc-like surface states, and has extensive application prospects. In this work, we systematically study the exceptional effects of the robust chiral surface wave supported by photonic Dirac semimetal acts on the dielectric particles. Theoretical results show that orthogonal electromagnetic modes and helical or chiral whispering gallery modes (WGMs) of dielectric particles can be efficiently excited by the unidirectional spin-polarized surface wave. More importantly, optical forces exerted by the spin-polarized surface wave exhibit chirality-dependent symmetric behavior and high chiral Q factor with precise size selectivity. Our findings may provide potential applications in the area of chiral microcavity, spin optical devices, and optical manipulations. © 2024 Optica Publishing Group. Abstract :

为了加强配电网自动化技术课程建设,提出基于虚实协同配合的实验教学方案。以“情景互动、探究创新”为实验教学理念,将课堂理论、虚拟仿真和物理仿真三者紧密结合。从需求导向出发,设计了四个渐进式实验,通过沉浸式教学,让学生了解配电网和开关设备的结构形态,掌握配电网运行、故障与保护算法的原理,培养学生的创新思维和创新设计能力。最后,建立主、客观评价相结合的综合评价体系,对学生参与实验的每个环节进行评价,通过收集反馈信息,持续改进评价体系。

Abstract :

针对传光式电流互感器高压侧现有的母线取能和激光供能方式存在供电死区、能量转换效率低、使用寿命不足等问题,提出一种基于四电平编码与弱光通信的极低功耗光电传输系统方案。首先,设计三态门电路将信号采集模块的采样时钟和数据信号叠加为一个四电平信号。然后,利用超高亮度且极低功耗的LED将四电平信号转换为光信号并通过光纤传输至低压侧。最后,在低压侧通过高灵敏度雪崩光电二极管探测器进行弱光检测后输入解码电路实现信号解码。将极低功耗光电传输系统应用于传光式电流互感器中进行实验验证,测量结果满足0.2级精度要求,系统高压侧的平均功耗可降低至3.91 mW,保证测量精度的同时大幅降低了功耗。由于高压侧的功耗极低,故可采用大容量电池或小功率光伏系统等可靠供能方案,从而解决了高压侧的供能问题,提高了系统的稳定性和可靠性。

Abstract :

The existing busbar energy extraction and laser energy supply methods on the high-voltage side of a light-transmitting current transformer suffer from the problems of power supply dead zones, low energy conversion efficiency, and insufficient service life. Thus an ultra-low power optoelectronic transmission system scheme based on four-level coding and weak light communication is proposed. First, a three-state gate circuit is designed to encode the sampling clock and data signal of the signal sampling module into a four-level signal. Then, the four-level signal is converted into an optical signal and transmitted to the low-voltage side through an optical fiber using an ultra-high brightness and ultra-low power LED. Finally, the signal is decoded at the low voltage side using a high-sensitivity avalanche photodiode detector for weak light detection and then input to the decoding circuit. The ultra-low power system is applied to the light-transmitting current transformer for experimental verification. The results show that it can meet the requirements of 0.2-level accuracy, and the average power consumption of the high-voltage side can be reduced to 3.91 mW. Because of the ultra-low power consumption of the system, the high-voltage side can adopt a reliable energy supply scheme such as a large-capacity battery or low-power photovoltaic system. This solves the problem of power supply and improves stability and reliability. © 2024 Power System Protection and Control Press. All rights reserved.
