一种高荧光强度的上转换稀土掺杂纳米材料及其制备方法 incoPat

Abstract :

本发明公开了一种高荧光强度的上转换稀土掺杂纳米材料及其制备方法,其通过高温共沉淀法合成粒径约为21nm掺杂Hf4+的LiYF4 : Er3+/Yb3+@LiYF4上转换纳米颗粒,Hf4+掺杂浓度分布在0~4%。通过XRD,TEM等研究了Hf4+离子掺杂对LiYF4 : Er3+/Yb3+@LiYF4的物相和形貌。掺杂Hf4+离子能产生晶格畸变,从而改变Er3+周围环境的晶体场,破环Er3+的禁戒跃迁,从而增强上转换发光,掺杂Hf4+能提高红光和绿光上转换发光强度约1.47倍。

Abstract :

Nanotetragonal LiYF4:RE (Tm,Er,Ho) is a kind of excellent upconversion luminescence (UCL) material potentially used in many fields, while the enhancement of UC emission and regulation of luminescence lifetime are still a challenge. Herein, a strategy was reported to enhance UCL performance with the aid of the construction of a 3Yb-Er-Hf sublattice energy cluster with the introduction of H1 and the interception of surface defect fluorescence quenching. UCL was obviously decreased by Hf4+ doping without surface defect elimination, but after the interception of surface defect quenching, UCL was dramatically enhanced more than 300-fold with an Er3+/Hf4+ mole ratio of 1:1. The contribution of UCL enhancement by the construction of a 3Yb-Er-Hf sublattice energy cluster is about 1.5 times of the sample without energy cluster construction. Interestingly, the lifetime of UCL can also be regulated by this strategy. According to the results of systematical microstructure analyses and UCL performance behaviors examined by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and fluorescence spectrophotometry (FS) methods, the possible mechanism of UCL enhancement was proposed. This work may be an inspiration for researchers to design and develop high-performance UCL nanomaterials.

Regulation pore size distribution for facilitating malachite green removal on carbon foam SCIE

Abstract :

Malachite green (MG) is widely used as a textile dye and an aquacultural biocide, and become a serious pollution of drink water, but effectually isolating and removing it from wastewater are still a challenge. Here we report a new strategy to prepare a carbon foam with tunable pore size distribution by a one-pot lava foam process. We find that uniform micropore size is beneficial to the formation of C-OH coordination on the pore surface, increasing MG adsorption rates via H+ ionization. As a result, carbon foam with uniform pore size distribution demonstrates an optimum MG removal efficiency of 1812 mg g- 1 and a higher partition coefficient of 3.02 mg g-1 mu M- 1, which is twice that of carbon foams with irregular pore size distribution. The adsorption of MG onto these adsorbents was found to be an endothermic monolayer chemical adsorption process, and the Gibbs free energy of adsorption process was decreased obviously by regulating micropore size distribution. The experiment results are in good agreement with pseudo-second-order kinetic and Langmuir isotherm models. Revealed the pore size distribution was the critical factor of MG removal by carbon foam. It should be and inspiration for the design and development of highly efficiency adsorbents for dyes removal.

Abstract :

CuO powder with microspheres, submicron sheets had been synthesized only from CuSO4 and Na2CO3 aqueous solutions by a facile route. Significant effects of initial droplet size of CuSO4 aqueous solution were observed on particle size, morphology and gas sensitivity of CuO. The morphologies of CuO powder varied from microspheres to submicron sheets with the introduction method of CuSO4 to Na2CO3 aqueous solutions. Based on the characterized structure and morphology, a possible formation mechanism of CuO had been proposed. High gas sensitivity to ethanol was obtained for the CuO microspheres synthesized by spray method, which exhibited the response sensitivity of 3.25 to ethanol with the concentration of 300 ppm at 250 degrees C. It suggests that the facile route is promising to the batch synthesis of CuO powder with good gas sensing properties.

Abstract :

In this work, a stratagem of improving the photocatalytic performance of TiO2 under NIR irradiation was illustrated by the combination of TiO2 with upconversion (UC) luminescent materials that present high intensity of UV band emission resulted from the sublattice energy clusters in tetragonal LiYF4: Tm UC matrix. The sublattice energy clusters were constructed by doping high concentration Yb3+ into tetragonal LiYF4: Tm. 347nm emission intensity of Tm3+ were enhanced dramatically with the rising of Yb3+ doping concentration and reached the top while 70% Yb3+ was doped, and the intensity was enhanced about 6.15 times compared with that of the usual 20% Yb3+ doped. After being coated with TiO2, the photocatalytic performance of the complex was enhanced about 2.55 folds compared to P25. XRD, SEM, TEM, FTIR, UV-vis and fluorescence spectrum were employed for the systematical investigation of the relationship between structure and performance. This stratagem may be helpful for the design and preparation of photocatalysts and photo sensors.

Abstract :

The Pt/FeSnO(OH)(5) catalyst has been prepared by depositing Pt nanoparticles on the synthesized FeSnO(OH)(5) nanoboxes and demonstrates excellent performance towards methanol oxidation reaction (MOR) in direct methanol fuel cells (DMFCs). The Pt/FeSnO(OH)(5) catalyst exhibits a higher mass activity (1182.35 mA/mg(Pt)) compared with Pt/C (594.57 mA/mg(Pt)) catalysts. The X-ray powder diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscope, field emission transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and electrochemical experiments have been employed to explore the relationships between the crystal structure and electrochemical properties. The increased activity and resistance of CO poisoning for Pt/FeSnO(OH)(5) catalyst can be attributed to the strong interaction between the transition metal in the hydroxide and Pt and the bifunctional effect. The higher relative concentration of Pt-0 in Pt/FeSnO(OH)(5) also contributes to the MOR activity. Moreover, the charge transfer resistance of Pt/FeSnO(OH)(5) is lower than that of Pt/C. Therefore, Pt/FeSnO(OH)(5) has great application prospect as a high-performance electrocatalyst in DMFCs.

Abstract :

In this study, a novel dual-mode luminescence phosphor KBaLu(MoO4)(3):Tb3+, Yb3+ has been synthesized by high-temperature solid-state reactions, and the crystal structures have been determined for the first time. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction data reveal that its space groups are C2/c. The crystalline structure is constituted by K/BaO8 distorted square antiprisms, distorted LuO8 polyhedra and two kinds of distorted MoO4 tetrahedra, which form chains lying along the c-axis. Spectroscopic properties and energy transfer mechanisms are investigated by detailed analyses of emission and excitation spectra and excited-state lifetimes. The KBaLu(MoO4)(3):Tb3+, Yb3+ phosphor shows dominant green emissions in the visible region, which are due to D-5(4) -> F-7(5) transition of Tb3+ under excitation light in ultraviolet region as well as a 980 nm laser, and the CIE coordinates are close to the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) standard values for primary green (0.310, 0.595). With the increasing temperature, the luminescence of KBaLu(MoO4)(3):Tb3+, Yb3+ phosphor decreases almost linearly with the CIE coordinate variation from (0.326, 0.616) to (0.327, 0.530), which results in photoluminescence color variation from primary green to yellowish-green. The present results demonstrate the successful synthesis of a dual-mode luminescence material KBaLu(MoO4)(3): Tb3+, Yb3+ phosphor with both up-and down-conversion luminescence properties; moreover, it can be used as a potential spectrum converter in display lighting and anti-counterfeiting.
