Remote information transfer between cavity-magnonics nodes SCIE
期刊论文 | 2025 , 100 (1) | PHYSICA SCRIPTA
Abstract&Keyword Cite Version(2)

Abstract :

This paper presents a theoretical analysis of remote information transmission based on a cavity-magnon quantum system. We first investigate the dynamics of a two-site coupled-cavity model, where each cavity contains a magnon. Under the condition of large hopping between two cavities or large detuning between the magnon and cavity modes, the state transfer between two distant magnons could be achieved without exciting the cavity field modes. Optimal coherent state transfer is also demonstrated by carefully adjusting parameters to suppress the cavity excitations. Our model could be utilized as the building block for quantum network by extending to one-dimensional coupled cavity chains.

Dynamical Casimir effect in a hybrid cavity optomechanical system SCIE

Abstract :

In this paper, we show that the dynamical Casimir effect can be observed in a hybrid cavity optomechanical system. By introducing a two-level atom into the cavity, the atomic transition from an excited state to the ground state can evoke a two-photon process. Our proposal does not require a driving field to induce the dynamical Casimir effect, which is very alternative to previous schemes. Furthermore, we show that when the atom is replaced by an identical atomic ensemble, the system not only can simulate the similar dynamic Casimir effect, but also exist more plentiful physical phenomena, i.e., higher-order resonance. Numerical simulation confirms the validity of our derivation.

Multiphonon Bundle Emission in a Strong-Coupling Cavity Optomechanical System SCIE

Abstract&Keyword Cite Version(2)

Abstract :

Nonclassical effects in mesoscopic systems have attracted much attention recently. In this paper, it is shown that multiphonon bundle emission can be observed in a strong-coupling cavity optomechanical system. Theoretical analysis shows that when the driving field is adjusted to nth-order sideband excitation, the coupling between the cavity mode and the vibrational mode leads to super-Rabi oscillations, and finally results in an n-phonon bundles emission. Based on the current technology, this process can work in a wide range of parameters. Numerical simulation confirms the validity of the derivation. It is thought that this physical mechanism broadens the applications of cavity optomechanical system in realm of quantum phononics, such as in quantum metrology and phonon laser.

Abstract :

We present an alternative scheme to achieve Schrodinger cat states in a strong coupling hybrid cavity optomechanical system. Under the single-photon strong-coupling regime, the interaction between the atom-cavity-oscillator system can induce the mesoscopic mechanical oscillator to Schrodinger cat states. Comparing to previous schemes, the proposed proposal consider the second order approximation on the Lamb-Dicke parameter, which is more universal in the experiment. Numerical simulations confirm the validity of our derivation.

Distributed coherent manipulation of qutrits by virtual excitation processes SCIE

Abstract&Keyword Cite Version(2)

Abstract :

We propose a scheme for the deterministic coherent manipulation of two atomic qutrits, trapped in separate cavities coupled through a short optical fibre or optical resonator. We study such a system in the regime of dispersive atom-field interactions, where the dynamics of atoms, cavities and fibre operates through virtual population of both the atomic excited states and photonic states in the cavities and fibre. We show that the resulting effective dynamics allows for the creation of robust qutrit entanglement, and thoroughly investigate the influence of imperfections and dissipation, due to atomic spontaneous emission and photon leakage, on the entanglement of the two-qutrit state.

Abstract :

The coherent evolution of two qubits mediated by a set of bosonic field modes is investigated. By assuming a specific asymmetric encoding of the quantum states in the internal levels of the qubits, we show that entangling quantum gates can be realized, with high fidelity, even when a large number of mediating modes is involved. The effect of losses and imperfections on the gates' operation is also considered in detail.

Teleporation of an arbitrary two-particle state without bell-state measurement in cavity QED SCIE CSCD

Abstract&Keyword Cite Version(1)

Abstract :

A scheme for approximately conditional teleportation of an arbitrary two-particle state without Bell-state measurement in cavity QED is presented. The scheme involves four two-level atoms and two single-mode cavities. The detection of atoms 3 and 4 collapses the atoms 1 and 2 to the initial state of atoms 3 and 4, while the cavity fields left in the vacuum state. The probability of success and the fidelity of our scheme are 0.125 and 0.98, respectively.

Deterministic generation of three-dimensional entanglement for two atoms separately trapped in two optical cavities SCIE

Abstract&Keyword Cite Version(2)

Abstract :

A scheme is proposed for the deterministic generation of three-dimensional entanglement of two distant atoms separately trapped in two optical cavities connected by an optical fiber. Employing adiabatic passage along dark states, the atoms are always in ground states, in particular, the fiber mode remains in the vacuum state due to the quantum destructive interference, and the population of the cavities being excited can be negligible under certain conditions. In this sense, our scheme constructs an effective way to avoid the atomic spontaneous emission and the decays of fiber and cavities.

Abstract :

An approach for realizing conditional phase gate for two atoms separately trapped in two distant cavities mediated by an optical fiber is proposed. Utilizing the adiabatic passage, the atomic spontaneous emission, and the decays of the fiber and cavities are avoided under certain condition. The effects of the losses in the fiber and cavities on the fidelity are analyzed. Moreover, our scheme is not restricted to Lamb-Dicke limit. We also generalize the approach to generate one-dimensional cluster state and entangled state for two collections of atoms. (C) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
