岩体三维随机裂隙网络模型的数字化重构与应用

Abstract :

岩体的裂隙发育程度对矿山地下工程围岩的力学特性具有重要影响,是影响矿山地下工程安全和稳定性的重要指标.岩体裂隙分布具有的不确定性和随机性,给这类岩体力学问题的科学研究和岩体中的安全施工提出了挑战.基于随机理论的Monte-Carlo方法和岩体裂隙面 Baecher 圆盘假设,推导了岩体裂隙结构参数的数学概率密度函数,提出了统计学角度的迹长(L)与直径(D)之间分布关系,建立了改进后裂隙结构几何参数的先验模型.借助Matlab-Dimine联合建模和计算机程序实现技术,设计了三维随机裂隙网络生成程序流程,并以某矿山的地下巷道工程实际现状为案例,开展了矿山的现场工程地质调查,获得了该矿地下巷道工程的裂隙产状参数,运用自编程的方法构建了岩体真三维的随机裂隙网络数字化空间结构模型,实现了地下矿山工程岩体裂隙网络模型的数字化重构.研究结果表明:1)以岩体力学统计学参数为依据,提出的迹长与裂隙直径的先验模型,改进了观测迹长(L)与裂隙直径(D)之间的分布关系,实现了矿山地下岩体裂隙结构模型的数字化重构;2)通过系统分析矿山岩体工程地质调查参数,可获得岩体裂隙的数字化数据,从而构建具有高度仿真的三维随机裂隙网络的数字矿体模型,为解决裂隙发育岩体三维数字化提供了一种的新方法.

Abstract :

To comprehensively investigate the effect of different minimum principal stresses on the stability of straight-wall arched tunnels, the static stress and low-frequency disturbances are applied in true triaxial loading tests, accompanied by acoustic emissions (AE) and internal image monitoring for damage. The results show that (1) increasing the minimum principal stress (along the axial direction of the tunnel) will improve tunnel stability, and (2) during the damage process of straight-wall arched tunnels, whether caused by static stress or low-frequency disturbances, the dissipated energy and AE count had demonstrated identical increasing trends in their numerical values. (3) When the straight-wall arched roadway had been damaged by low-frequency disturbances, the dissipated energy and AE count had increased gradually at first and then surged rapidly upon macroscopic damage, following a trend similar to an exponential function.Please check and confirm that the authors and their respective affiliations have been correctly identified and amend if necessary.We have confirmed the correctness of the authors and their affiliations

Steel slag is an industrial solid waste, which can provide a new calcium source for microbial mineralization as it contains abundant calcium elements. This study treated cemented backfill material with microorganisms and steel slag to enhance its performance. The influence of microbial treatment on the strength, microstructure, and pore characteristics of the backfill was assessed using a strength test, nuclear magnetic resonance, scanning electron microscopy, and X-ray diffraction. The results indicate that (1) the microbial mineralization and the hydration reaction take place at the same time; (2) when the proportion of bacterial solution exceeded 50%, microorganisms excessively consumed Ca2+, which hindered the following hydration reaction; (3) the additional amount of bacterial solution added into the steel-slag-based cemented backfill material should be less than 50%, which increases the strength by up to 22.10%; (4) the excessive bacterial solution sharply reduces the strength of the backfill even by 21.41%; and (5) the addition of bacterial solution affects the pore characteristics. A 50% bacterial solution can make backfill reach its lowest porosity. The strength has an inversely proportional relationship with porosity, diameter, and roundness (σ = ax + b, a © 2024 by the authors.

白龙江流域不同植被类型修复模式下土壤理化性质与边坡稳定性 CSCD PKU

Abstract :

植被修复是边坡生态治理的有效手段。目前,植被对边坡稳定性影响的研究侧重在根系的锚固作用,而有关植被对土壤物理化学性质的影响所导致的土体边坡稳定性的变化研究比较少。本研究以白龙江流域滑坡区植被修复林地、灌木-草地、草地与裸地为研究对象,测量了修复14年后不同植被类型下土壤的基本物理化学特性与力学特性,主要分析了粒度、团聚体、土壤矿物等理化性质与抗剪强度的关系,并通过数值模拟软件综合对比了不同植被修复模式下土体的边坡稳定性。得到了以下结果:(1)植被修复可以显著改变土壤的物理化学性质,灌木-草地相对于其他两种修复模式可以明显提升细颗粒(黏粒、粉粒)和粘土矿物的含量,林地对土壤团聚体形成的促进效果最好。(2)土壤的平均重量直径越大,内摩擦角越大,细颗粒的含量与粘聚力呈高度拟合的指数关系(R~2=0.99)。粘土矿物含量与土壤粘聚力呈正相关。(3)经过14年的修复,不同植被修复模式下土体的边坡稳定性都得到了一定程度的提升,其中灌木-草地群落对土体边坡稳定性的加强效果最好。极端降雨条件下,边坡稳定性安全系数从大到小依次为灌木-草地(3.20~2.58)、林地(3.03~2.44)、草地(2.91~2.41)、裸地(2.68~2.25)。本研究有助于加强对不同植被类型对土体边坡稳定性的作用机制的认识,也可为该区域植被修复模式提供一定的建议。

The geometry of the attached mortar present in recycled concrete aggregates influences the behaviour of recycled aggregate concrete, since this mortar is porous, rough and tends to increase the elongation of aggregate particles. These factors influence shape, volume, and complexity of the mesoscopic phases of concrete (including the interfacial transition zone), but studies on this topic so far have not realistically represented the geometry and mesoscopic phases of recycled aggregate concrete. This hinders a proper analysis of the effect of the attached mortar's geometry. This paper develops a mesoscopic model for recycled aggregate concrete, considering four types of attached mortar's geometry based on experimental observation. Concrete mixes numerically modelled with either: i) the four attached mortar's geometries combined on a mixed model (representative of real cases); or ii) a single type of attached mortar's geometry was analysed regarding the effect of the attached mortar's geometry on the compressive and tensile behaviour and on fracture development. The main findings of the paper are: (1) the geometry of the attached mortar is relevant to the behaviour of recycled aggregate concrete; (2) modelling the attached mortar as present in both ends of the larger radius of the recycled aggregate leads to more realistic results; (3) modelling the attached mortar as fully enclosing the recycled aggregate overestimates the mechanical properties.

Abstract :

Flaws such as faults, joints, and bedding planes often exist in natural rock masses, which pose significant safety hazards for tunnel excavation. We conducted a series of experimental tests to analyse the effect of the different flaw occurrences (intact, open-flaw, and filled-flaw) on the rockburst mode around a horseshoe-shaped tunnel. The destruction was monitored by continuous photo imaging (captured inside the tunnel) and acoustic emission (AE) monitoring. Test results show that: 1) Under different flaw occurrences, the rockburst mode is different. mainly for strain rockburst and fault slip rockburst 2) Strain rockburst produces more tensile cracks in the initial stage (I and II) and more shear cracks in the later stage (III, IV and V). However, the fault slip rockburst produces shear cracks from the beginning to the end. 3) The filled material inside the flaws can significantly enhance the stability of the surrounding rock and also inhibit the development of fault slip rockburst. The rockburst modes and mechanisms under different surrounding rock conditions have been verified by PFC.

Abstract :

Air-entraining agents can introduce tiny bubbles into a filling slurry, thereby improving its fluidity. However, the introduction of bubbles can change the pore characteristics of backfill materials. Pore characteristics can be visually observed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). SEM images contain a large amount of microstructural characteristic information. However, the analysis of the image information is superficial. We used SEM images to qualitatively analyse the microstructural characteristics of backfill materials, and morphological operations and digital image processing techniques were used to obtain a binarization image for the semi-quantitative analys is of pore distribution. Two fractal theories: box-counting and slit island methods, were used to quantitatively analyse the binarization image to comprehensively analyse the pore characteristics of the backfill materials. The results show that: (1) the pore shape characteristics are obtained quantitatively (R-r = 4.73-5.48, R = 1.46-1.60), and most pores are regular. (2) The pores of backfill materials have good fractal characteristics (R-2 > 0.97), which can be quantitatively analysed and studied using the fractal theory (D-I = 1.086-1.160 and D-B = 1.50-1.62). (3) The research result suggest that the more regular the pore, the smaller its fractal dimension, which is given quantitatively as (D = a*R-r+b*R+c).

Abstract :

The gradation of aggregate and the hydration reaction of cementitious materials are important factors affecting the performance of backfill materials. Steel slag powder (SSP) can be used as both aggregate and cementitious material according to different particle size. SSP has multiple influencing effects on coarse tailings cemented backfill (CTCB). Experiment with different content SSP in the CTCB was designed. And uniaxial compression, nuclear magnetic resonance and scanning electron microscopy techniques were used to characterize its macro and micro characteristics. The relationship model of aggregate characteristics on strength and porosity was established by analyzing the characteristics of aggregate using gradation and fractal. The conclusions mainly include: (1) SSP plays three main roles in the CTCB: optimizing the gradation, generating hydration reaction and influencing the hydration reaction of cement. (2) There are good gradation and fractal characteristics between SSP and coarse tailings, with a grading index of 0.30-0.61 and a fractal dimension of 2.12-2.61. (3) The relationship between strength, porosity and gradation, fractal dimension was quadratic function relation, and then the grading index and fractal dimension for optimal strength and pore characteristics are 0.45-0.49 and 2.33-2.40 respectively.

To elucidate the relationship between the anchoring effect of bolts and confining pressures, triaxial compression tests were performed to study the deformation characteristics, mechanical properties, and failure behaviour of anchored granite with two pre-existing fissures. The results demonstrated that the deformation characteristics or mechanical properties of anchored granite, including triaxial compressive strength, elastic modulus, and stored or dissipated energy, increased with increasing confining pressure under low confining pressures. Rockbolt boreholes significantly weaken the mechanical properties and failure behaviour under high confining pressures and have a negative impact on the peak axial strength and stored or dissipated energy of the anchored granite. The fissure angle and confining pressure have a direct impact on the failure mode of anchored granite. With increasing confining pressures or fissure angles, shear cracks and anti-wing cracks instead of tensile wing cracks are more likely to cause ultimate failure. In addition, four modes of crack coalescence were identified: no coalescence, two types of direct crack coalescence, and indirect crack coalescence.
