Abstract ：
Comprehensive universities have their educational objectives and characteristics which are different from those of professional art institutes. Comprehensive universities lay particular emphasis on inclusiveness, versatility, and interdisciplinary similarity, and especially on the study of the blending of the edge of disciplines. Taking the curriculum design and training program of the Department of Painting in Xiamen Academy of Arts and Design of Fuzhou University as an example, this paper analyzes and deliberates on the mode of art talents cultivation in comprehensive universities. © 2023 Author(s).
