The Origin of Mesozoic A-type Granitoids, Fujian Province, Southeast China: Insights from Geochronology, Mineralogy and Geochemistry SCIE CSCD

Abstract :

The magma sources, origins and precise forming ages of the miarolite from Qishan and Kuiqi intrusions are still uncertain. New results reveal that, miarolites from the Qishan and Kuiqi intrusions yield crystallization ages of -101 and similar to 98 Ma, and they have a high formation temperature (similar to 910 degrees C) and low oxygen fugacity value, indicating crystallization condition at low pressure in the upper crust with temperature of 678 degrees C. The Qishan and Kuiqi miarolites are characterized by enrichment in SiO2 and high-K alkali, depletion in Ca and Mg, and belong to the high-K weak peraluminous rock series. The samples are enriched in HFSEs (i.e., Ta, Zr and Hf) and LILEs (i.e., Ba, P and Sr), depleted in Ba and Sr with the negative anomaly of Eu. In the primitive mantle normalized trace element spider diagram, the samples show a right-inclined 'seagull-type' pattern, combined the ratios of (La/Yb)N, 10000 x Al/Ga, Rb/Nb and Nb/Ta etc., they were proved to be alkaline A-type granite. Combined the characterize of the trace elements, they were derived from clay-rich source accompanied pelite melting, and subjected to K-feldspar crystallization fractional. The values of eHf(t) and tDM2 are distributed in the range of -2.8 to 3.3 with similar to 1.2 Ga, and -6.0 to 4.0 with similar to 1.2 Ga, revealing that they were generated from the Mesoproterozoic Cathaysia basement rocks. The comprehensive research reveals the Kuiqi and Qishan intrusions derived from crust-mantle mixing and partial melting of the crust, respectively, resulting from lithospheric extension generated by the Paleo-Pacific Plate subducted into the European-Asian Plate.

Abstract :

地质生产实习是资源勘查工程专业本科教学的核心实践课程,是培养工科学生工程实践能力、分析和解决复杂工程问题能力的综合实践和应用的课程。地质生产实习涉及矿山实践时具有时间紧、任务重和危险性高的特点,并且矿山经过不断开采也会逐渐剥离直至消失,因此虚拟仿真技术是有效开展实习教学和保留矿山形貌的有效途径。在教育部、福建省教育厅等项目支持下,福州大学资源勘查工程专业建立了紫金山金铜矿全息多维地质成矿规律虚拟仿真实验平台。本文介绍了虚拟仿真实验平台的核心实验内容、校企合作建设平台的途径,探索实验教学与生产实习间的优势互补、相辅相成的关系。

Abstract :

Late Mesozoic mafic dykes, which are widely developed in the North Qinling Orogenic Belt (NQOB), include abundant geodynamic information. This paper describes the mafic dykes that intrude the Late Jurassic granite in the Dayu and Kuyu areas, and reports important petrological constraints for the late Mesozoic tectonic transition from compression to extension in the NQOB. Three zircon U-Pb results show that the minimum ages of the mafic dykes are 139.8 +/- 1.4 Ma, 137.4 +/- 1.7 Ma and 133.4 +/- 0.9 Ma, indicating that the emplacement age of the Dayu and Kuyu mafic dykes is 140-133 Ma. Petrogeochemical analyses suggest that the mafic dykes belong to the high-K calc-alkaline shoshonite series with low SiO2 (46.93-56.73 wt%), MgO (1.88-9.10 wt%) and TiO2 (1.17-1.82 wt%), and high Al2O3 (13.98-17.46 wt%), TFe2O3 (7.81-10.92 wt%) and K2O (1.28-4.78 wt%). The mafic dykes are enriched in large ion lithophile elements (e.g. Rb, Ba, K, La, Sr) and depleted in high-field-strength elements (e.g. Nb, Ta, Zr, Ti). These samples have the right-sloping chondrite-normalised rare earth element patterns, which suggest light rare earth element enrichment and heavy rare earth elements depletion with no obvious Eu anomalies (delta Eu = 0.94-1.11). The I-Sr, epsilon(Nd)(t), epsilon(Hf) (t) and T-DM2(crust) values are 0.7056-0.7060, -10.60 to -5.98, -14.1 to -2.8, and 1382.4 +/- 25.1 to 2081.9 +/- 47.6 Ma, respectively. Both elemental and isotopic geochemistry show that the formation of Dayu and Kuyu mafic dykes is due to the partial decompression melting of previously enriched lithospheric mantle during a delamination process. The mafic dykes have undergone fractionation crystallisation of Mg-Fe phase minerals during magma ascent, accompanied by some crustal contamination. Combined with the regional tectonic setting, we suggested that the NQOB experienced intra-continental extension during the Early Cretaceous.

Abstract :

The North Qinling Orogenic Belt (NQOB) is a composite orogenic belt in central China. It started evolving during the Meso-Neoproterozoic period and underwent multiple stages of plate subduction and collision before entering intra-continental orogeny in the Late Triassic. The Meso-Cenozoic intra-continental orogeny and tectonic evolution had different responses in various terranes of the belt, with the tectonic evolution of the middle part of the belt being particularly controversial. The granites distributed in the Dayu and Kuyu areas in the middle part of the NQOB can provide an important window for revealing the geodynamic mechanisms of the NQOB. The main lithology of Dayu and Kuyu granites is biotite monzogranite, and the zircon U-Pb dating yielded intrusive ages of 151.3 & PLUSMN; 3.4 Ma and 147.7 & PLUSMN; 1.5 Ma, respectively. The dates suggest that the biotite monzogranite were formed at the end of the Late Jurassic. The whole-rock geochemistry analysis shows that the granites in the study areas are characterized by slightly high SiO2 (64.50-68.88 wt%) and high Al2O3 (15.12-16.24 wt%) and Na2O (3.55-3.80 wt%) contents. They are also enriched in light rare earth elements, large ion lithophile elements (e.g., Ba, K, La, Pb and Sr), and depleted in high field strength elements (HFSEs) (e.g., Ta, Nb, P and Ti). Additionally, the granites have weakly negative-slightly positive Eu anomalies (& delta;Eu = 0.91-1.19). Zircon Lu-Hf isotopic analysis showed & epsilon;Hf(t) = -6.1--3.8, and the two-stage model age is T2DM(crust) = 1.5-1.6 Ga. The granites in the study areas are analyzed as weak peraluminous high-K calc-alkaline I-type granites. They formed by partial melting of the thickened ancient lower crust, accompanied by the addition of minor mantle-derived materials. During magma ascent, they experienced fractional crystallization, with residual garnet and amphibole for a certain proportion in the magma source region. Comprehensive the geotectonic data suggest that the end of the Late Jurassic granite magmatism in the Dayu and Kuyu areas represents a compression-extension transition regime. It may have been a response to multiple tectonic mechanisms, such as the late Mesozoic intra-continental southward subduction of the North China Craton and the remote effect of the Paleo-Pacific Plate subduction. image

秦岭翠华山水湫池地区分布的黑云母花岗岩是陕西翠华山国家山崩地质公园的崩塌母岩,目前还未见对其系统地开展年代学、地球化学研究。本文在野外调查的基础上,对翠华山水湫池地区分布的黑云母花岗岩首次进行了LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb测年、Lu-Hf同位素及全岩地球化学分析,获得锆石U-Pb加权平均年龄为149.4Ma±1.1 Ma,时代属于晚侏罗世;结合前人的研究成果资料,翠华山复式岩体可能存在~227 Ma、~150 Ma、~119 Ma三期岩浆侵位活动;全岩地球化学分析具有高硅(w(SiO_2)=69.83%~75.31%)、富钾(w(K_2O)=2.71%~5.23%)、弱过铝质(A/CNK=1.00~1.07)特征,属于高钾钙碱性-钾玄岩Ⅰ型花岗岩;其轻、重稀土分馏明显(w(LREE)/w(HREE)=10.09~67.50),富集LILE(K、La、Pb、Sr)、亏损HFSE(Ta、Nb、P、Ti),Eu呈弱负异常—轻微正异常,且显示高Sr低Y花岗岩特征;锆石Hf同位素分析得出ε_(Hf)(t)=-4.6~-1.4,T_(2DM(crust))=1.3 Ga~1.5 Ga,指示其可能为中元古代加厚下地壳物质部分熔融形成。

The Dongnan Cu–Mo deposit, located in the southeast of the Zijinshan ore field (the largest porphyry–epithermal system in Southeast China), represents the complex magmatic and metallogenesis events in the region. The petrogenesis and metallogenesis of granitoids from the deposit are not determined, especially the interactions between ore-bearing (granodiorite porphyry) and barren samples (granodiorite and diorite). In the paper, the whole rock geochemical features shared a similar affinity to the middle-lower content and revealed that they derived from partial melting of the Cathaysian basement with the contribution of mantle materials, even represented that they generated in the plate subduction; LA-ICP-MS zircon U–Pb ages show that these granodiorites, granodioritic porphyry and diorite, were generated during 114–103 Ma. The ore-bearing samples mostly presented εHf(t) of negative values (peak value is −4 to −3) with old two-stage Hf model ages (tDM2) (peak value is 1.10–1.15 Ga), while the barren sample showed slightly negative εHf(t) (peak value is −1 to 0) values with young tDM2 (peak value is 1.00–1.05 Ga). The value of zircon Ce4+/Ce3+ ratio mostly higher than 450 was first verified for the ore-bearing samples in the Dongnan Cu–Mo deposit, and the values of ore-bearing were found to be higher than those from the barren, which suggests that the ore-bearing formed in more oxidized parental magma with higher oxygen fugacity. Based on the geochemical characteristic of the element and isotope, we concluded that the Early Cretaceous multi-phases magmatic activities, low melting temperature and low pressure of pluton, and high oxygen fugacity of zircon, were the favorable conditions for metallogenesis of Dongnan Cu–Mo deposit. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Science Press and Institute of Geochemistry, CAS and Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature.

Abstract :

Shanzhuping deposit is located in the southwestern Zijinshan ore field, Shanghang County, Fujian Province, develops the Au, Cu and Mo elements anomaly, and forms Au and Cu deposit. The granodiorite and monzogranite are selected for carrying on petrology, petrography, whole rock geochemistry, U-Pb geochronology and Lu-Hf isotope. Here we report the monzogranite and granodiorite Pb-206/U-238 weighted mean age at 105. 2Ma and 113. 4Ma. Combined with the zircon characteristics of magma oscillation and Th/U ratios, which reveals that there are two episodes magmatic activities of Late Yanshanian. The granodiorite and monzogranite share geochemical affinities with typical island arc, enriched Na element ( Na2O/K2O > 1), light rare earth element ( LREE), large icon lithophile element ( LIEE, such as Ba and K), and U, Th and Pb etc., depleted high field strength element ( HESE, such as Nb, Ta and Zr), and characterized with peraluminous ( A/CNK with 1. 19 similar to 1.68), medium ( La/Yb) N ( 13. 6 similar to 17. 4), and high Mg-#(45. 89 similar to 48. 53); slightly negative Eu anomaly (delta Eu ranges 0. 79 to 0. 97), and slightly positive Ce anomaly ( ranges 1. 0 similar to 1.08). The peak value of zircon two -stage Hf model age (t(DM2)) ranges of 1.05 similar to 1. 10Ga and 0.95 similar to 1. OGa, the epsilon(Hf)( t) ranges of -4. 47 similar to +2.38 ( mainly negative values) and -2. 73 similar to +1.47 (mainly positive values), respectively. Based on previous research results and opinions of this study, we infer that monzogranite derived from melting of Mesoproterozoic ancient basement in upper crust, while granodiorite derived from the Neoproterozoic crustal material and subjected to the contamination of mantle materials. The Shanzhuping deposit formed in Late Yanshanian island arc or active continent margin tectonic setting, which is closely related to paleoPacific plate subducted to Eurasian plate, and the southwest or south of which was predicted as two favorable exploration region.

单竹坪矿床位于福建省上杭县紫金山矿田的西南部,形成了 Au、Cu和Mo 异常,其中Au、Cu富集成矿.选取单竹坪矿床钻孔岩芯中二长花岗岩和花岗闪长岩作为研究对象,开展岩石学、岩相学、全岩地球化学、锆石U-Pb年代学和Lu-Hf同位素研究.研究结果表明,二长花岗岩和花岗闪长岩锆石206Pb/238U加权平均年龄分别为105.2Ma和113.4Ma.二长花岗岩和花岗闪长岩具有富钠(Na2O/K2O>1),过铝质(A/CNK=1.19~1.68),富集轻稀土(LREE)、大离子亲石元素(LIEE,如Ba、K)和Th、U、Pb和Hf等元素,亏损高场强元素(如Nb、Ta和Ti等)的特征,属于高钾钙碱性过铝质岩石系列,具有岛弧岩浆岩特征.同时具有中等的(La/Yb)N值(13.6~17.4),高Mg#值(45.89~48.53),以及Eu弱负异常(δEu=0.79~0.97)和Ce弱正异常(δCe=1.0~1.08).锆石两阶段Hf模式年龄(tDM2)峰值分别处于0.95~1.0Ma和1.05~1.10Ma区间;εHf(t)值分别介于-4.47~+2.38和-2.73~+1.47,二长花岗岩以负值为主,花岗闪长岩正负值均有.综合研究认为,二长花岗岩来源于中元古界未受幔源组分影响的古老基底地壳熔融而成,花岗闪长岩来源于新元古界地壳物质并经历了壳-幔混合作用;单竹坪矿床形成于燕山晚期岛弧或活动大陆边缘构造环境,与古太平洋板块的俯冲相关,其西南部或南部是成矿远景区.

基于加权信息量法的福州地区地热资源模型构建 PKU

Abstract :

以福州地区为研究区,采用新提出的城市热异常越级融合提取算法(UTALFE)消除城市热岛获得地表温度、区分早期与晚期燕山期侵入岩作为改进,融合地质背景、地理背景、地球物理3类数据共7个因子进行建模,并结合地热温标对圈定的地热潜力区进行验证.模型评价结果表明,加权信息量模型预测能力优于信息量模型.福州地区高地热潜力地区的分布与主要水系的分布存在明显空间相关性,市区、县区附近区域的地热潜力均较高,未来可以考虑在闽侯光明、闽清汤兜两处开展干热岩远景勘探与研究.

政和蛙岩崩塌是一处大型古岩崩遗迹,其堵塞闽江支流七星溪河谷形成外屯—湖屯一带长度超过10.5 km的古堰塞湖,其后的溃坝使堰塞湖水体泄空,细粒堆积物露出地表形成万亩良田。为了约束该古堰塞湖形成与溃坝的时代,对古堰塞湖沉积施工了1个深度8.5 m的浅钻,沿不同深度采集了8件AMS~(14)C测年样品,结果表明:堰塞湖沉积从地表至8.5 m深的~(14)C年龄从930~795 Cal BP至1 528~1 376 Cal BP,根据堰塞湖沉积顶部的最小年龄推测堰塞湖溃坝的时代(~0.8±0.1)ka BP,由沉积速率推算堰塞湖形成时代不早于(2.8±0.1)ka BP,表明蛙岩古堰塞湖形成于全新世...
