Robust Nonlinear Servo Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Based on Finite-time Extended State Observer EI

Abstract :

In this paper, a nonlinear servo control method based on finite-time observer is developed for position control of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). The nonlinear servo control law consists of two parts, where the linear part is responsible for the fast dynamic response and the nonlinear part is responsible for reducing the overshoot when the system approaches the steady state. To tackle the time-varying uncertainty occurring in the system, a finite-time extended state observer is proposed to estimate the lumped disturbance for feed-forward compensation in the control loop. Simulation and experimental results verify that the proposed control scheme can track the target position quickly and accurately, and is robust against disturbance and uncertainty. © 2024 Technical Committee on Control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Multi-game optimization operation strategy for integrated energy system considering spatiotemporal correlation of renewable energy SCIE

Abstract :

With the increasing diversity of market entities in the integrated energy system (IES), the interests of multiple entities become complex and variable, leading to disorganized competition among entities in the trading market. Therefore, this paper presents an optimal operation strategy for IES employing a multi-game with tri-level transactions. Firstly, a tri-level IES framework is established with the energy production provider alliance, energy sales agent, and energy user agents as the main entities. Secondly, to handle the uncertainty of renewable energy, a MD-K2 dynamic bayesian network method describing the spatiotemporal correlation of wind and photovoltaic is proposed, and generates probabilistic scenarios. Then, a tri-level multi-game optimization operation model is constructed considering multi-dimensional transactions and demand responses, and is proved to achieve the game equilibrium. Finally, the tri-level model is converted into bi-level mixed-integer linear programming (BMILP) problem, which is solved by a bisection-based distributed iterative algorithm. The simulation results indicate that the optimization strategy improves the interests of tri-level entities and promotes fair distribution of cooperative benefits among alliance members.

Abstract :

The distribution network environment is complex and has serious harmonic problems. The large-scale integration of new energy has exacerbated the diversification of harmonic sources and voltage distortion. Aiming at the poor estimation accuracy of traditional dynamic harmonic state estimation algorithm when there are time-varying noise and abrupt data, an adaptive harmonic state estimation algorithm for distribution networks considering new energy pseudo-measurement is proposed. Firstly, the Sage-Husa noise estimation method based on the forgetting factor is introduced to estimate the time-varying noise interference when the noise covariance is reduced in real-time. Then, an adaptive factor is constructed to online correct the error variance matrix, thereby reducing the prediction error caused by sudden load changes. Secondly, a confidence interval pseudo measurement generation method for quantile regression Bayesian gated recurrent neural network is proposed to solve the problem of missing short-term harmonic data in new energy and improve effect of the real-time harmonic state estimation. Finally, the effectiveness of the algorithm proposed in this paper is verified by an modified distribution network system.

Identification of fractional-order equivalent circuit model of lithium-ion battery for improving estimation of state of charge SCIE

Abstract :

Accurate estimation of State of Charge (SOC) based on equivalent circuit model (ECM) of Lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) is an important research topic. Recent research has found that fractional-order model (FOM), as one kind of equivalent circuit model, can provide a better description of LIBs dynamics than the conventional integerorder ECMs. However, it is difficult to directly identify an FOM online. In this paper, a synergy of Beetle Antennae Search and Recursive Least Squares (BAS-RLS) is proposed to identify the parameters of an FOM for LIBs. Specifically, the BAS is adopted to determine the fractional order, while the remaining parameters of FOM are estimated via the well-established RLS algorithm. A comparison study will demonstrate that this method offers a similar modeling accuracy as the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), and the online estimated model is more accurate than offline estimated models. Based on the identified FOM, this article then explores the battery SOC estimation from two aspects: initial value effect of the SOC and the comparison of multiple estimation algorithms, thus verifying the advantage of the proposed method for LIBs modeling and SOC estimation.

Abstract :

This paper mainly studies the state of charge (SOC) estimation of lithium batteries based on a fractional-order adaptive square-root cubature Kalman filter (FO-ASRCKF). Firstly, a fractional-order model (FOM) of lithium battery is established by using fractional-order derivative theory. In order to meet the identification accuracy, an improved adaptive genetic algorithm is applied to the process of multi-parameter model identification. Then, the FO-ASRCKF algorithm based on FOM and adaptive rules is proposed, and a comparative experiment with Fractional-order adaptive iterative extended Kalman filter (FO-AIEKF) and Integer-order adaptive square-root cubature Kalman filter (IO-ASRCKF) is carried out. The experimental results show that the proposed FO- ASRCKF can work normally under various working conditions, and it has higher SOC estimation accuracy, with the mean absolute error (MAE) being less than 0.5%. Moreover, it can also overcome the divergence caused by noise and wrong initial values, indicating a better robustness.

分数阶控制技术是近20 年控制领域兴起的一个研究方向.采用分数阶微积分,可更精确地描述复杂系统的动态特性和进行有效控制.以工业伺服系统常用的永磁同步交流电动机作为被控对象,在磁场定向的矢量控制模式下,对电动机的速度-位置环分别采用分数阶PI控制、分数阶自抗扰控制和分数阶滑模控制等技术,设计了电动机速度调节、位置伺服控制的一组综合实验,通过数字信号处理器TMS320F28335 搭建了实验测试平台,实验结果验证了各设计方案的可行性.该综合实验用于本科生计算机控制系统实训和研究生控制工程实践环节,帮助学生领会先进控制技术的潜力,彰显精益求精的工匠精神.

A New Method for Fractional Order Model Parameters Identification of Lithium-ion Battery CPCI-S

Abstract :

Equivalent circuit model (ECM) is a common method to simulate the electrochemical characteristics of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). Fractional order model (FOM) has been proved to be able to characterize the internal characteristics of the battery more accurately, and the identification of model parameters is an important prerequisite to construct the ECM of LIBs. In this paper, a model parameter identification algorithm based on Beetle Antennae Search-Recursive Least Squares (BAS-RLS) is proposed for the FOM of LIBs. Firstly, the open circuit voltage (OCV) of battery is identified by Rint model. After obtaining the OCV of the battery, the BAS-RLS algorithm is used to identify the parameters of the FOM. The verification of four working conditions of LIBs confirms that the constructed FOM has higher accuracy. The maximum RMSE and MAE of the model output terminal voltage indexes under four working conditions are 9.1783 mv and 7.0939 mv respectively.

Abstract :

The advantages of switched reluctance motor(SRM) are obvious, and it applies to more and more industries. However, the torque ripple is more serious than other kinds of motors, so the control strategy of SRM is very important. As a kind of variable structure nonlinear control, sliding mode control is widely used. In this paper, the torque controller in indirect torque control(ITC) strategy is implemented with sliding mode control. Through the stability analysis of ideal conditions and parameter perturbation, the selection of controller parameters is given. Finally, the controller is verified by simulation and experiment. The simulation and experiment show that the controller can effectively track the real-time changing torque instruction, and the tracking effect is good. © 2022 IEEE.
