Abstract:
Electrocardiogram (ECG) and Vectorcardiogram (VCG) are essential in diagnosing heart diseases. Combining both VCG and ECG signals can significantly improve the accuracy of heart disease diagnosis. However, due to the intricacy of the devices and the additional leads required to be placed on the patient, it is inconvenient to capture these two signals simultaneously. To obtain both signals at once, this work presents a U-Net network that integrates residual blocks and gate attention mechanisms to convert VCG signals into 12-lead ECG signals. The experimental results demonstrate a high degree of similarity between the 12-lead ECG signals derived from the proposed approach and the original 12-lead signals. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).
