Design of a Servomotor Fractional Control Test-bench for Lab Demonstration
Translated Abstract
Fractional-order control is an emerging research topic in control area during the past two decades.Using fractional-order derivative and integration,it is possible to capture the dynamics of complex systems more precisely and implement effective control. However, some challenges may appear when it comes to practical application. This paper takes the permanent magnet synchronous AC motor, which is widely used in industrial servo systems,as the target system for control. In the framework of field-oriented vector control,a set of comprehensive experiments are designed for motor speed regulation and position servo control, using three kinds of control techniques, specifically, fractional PI control, fractional active disturbance-rejection control, and fractional sliding mode control. An experimental test-bench is established using TMS320F 28 335 digital signal processor.Experiment results are presented to demonstrate the feasibility of various designs. The comprehensive experiments are adopted in the undergraduate module of computer control system practice and the graduate modules of control engineering, providing a paradigm for converting technology into productivity, which can help the students appreciate the potential of advanced control techniques, and promote the kind of Craftsman's spirit aiming for superiority.
